Bare Bright Copper (#1)

Uncoated, unalloyed copper wire — no smaller than 16 gauge. Must be clean and free of solder, paint, and corrosion. This is the highest-value copper scrap grade.

Copper #1

Clean copper tubing, bus bars, clippings, and commutator segments. Must be free of solder, paint, oil, and other contaminants.

Copper #2

Copper with solder, paint, or light corrosion. Includes mixed unalloyed copper scrap like dirty tubing, gutters, and light-gauge wire.

Insulated Copper Wire

All gauges of insulated copper wire. Price depends on copper recovery rate — thicker wire pays more. We accept THHN, Romex, extension cords, and communication cable.

Copper Turnings

Clean copper turnings and borings from machining operations. Must be dry and free of excess oil.

How to Get the Best Price

Sort your copper by grade before bringing it in
Remove insulation from wire when possible (bare bright pays more)
Keep copper clean and dry
Separate copper from brass, bronze, and other metals
